Laurie’s Passion is Teaching

After a successful S’Bia Education night in February, Melissa Mellott of Spa Defined and new Esthetician Instructor, invited Laurie to speak at the SBCC Cosmetology Academy to the Esthetician students.  Laurie talked about Lasers and IPL to a class of 25 aspiring estheticians.  While estheticians are not legally allowed or trained to perform laser work on patients, they do need to be familiar with the protocol and treatments so they can make appropriate recommendations and referrals to their patients.  The esthetician students learned a lot from Laurie and had a ton of questions for her!  Laurie’s passion just shines through when she shares this information with others!
